A new home for the Italian Bilingual School

Greens MP Jamie Parker has congratulated Co.As.It., the Italian Association of Assistance, on finding a permanent home for the Italian Bilingual School in Meadowbank.

"CoAsIt is a leading organisation in our community, providing important cultural education and community services," Mr Parker said.

"I congratulate and particularly acknowledge the work of Lorenzo Fazzini, President of Co.As.It., and Andrea Comastri, CEO of Co.As.It.

"I understand the new location is ideally situated to be accessible to the Italian speaking community in the Inner West and the Lower Northern Suburbs.

"I wish the Italian Bilingual School all the best at its new location and look forward to its continued success," Mr Parker said.

FERRIES AT ANNANDALE AND WEST BALMAIN

Imagine hopping on a ferry at Annandale or West Balmain and being in the heart of the city within minutes.

Dear Transport Minister,

New inner west ferry services would provide efficient, fast and environmentally sound travel to and from the area for workers, tourists, students, pensioners and the general public.

I therefore ask that the Government build on the success of the Blackwattle Bay ferry and establish a ferry service at Rozelle Bay for the Annandale area and reinstate the ferry at West Balmain.
