Local residents will have the opportunity to have their views submitted to the government's transport Master Plan in two local forums organised by Greens MP Jamie Parker next week.

"The NSW government is currently developing a long term transport Master Plan which will set out the priorities for the next 20 years and it is crucial that residents have their say," Mr Parker said.
“Our community deserves more efficient and accessible transport options and I am committed to working toward genuine solutions," Mr Parker said.
Mr Parker recently successfully lobbied for better services for local bus commuters, writing to the Minister for Transport on behalf of residents who were frustrated with bus services on route 470.
"The Minister advised following a review of patronage data, there would be an additional trip departing Annandale and higher capacity on the 8:30am trip departing Lilyfield," Mr Parker said.
"While I have been able to help deliver several additional services around the electorate, we need a state-wide strategy that works.
"A lack of vision and chronic underfunding has lead to a poor transport system that has fundamentally failed to meet the needs of Sydney.
"Investing in public transport is essential to providing a reliable and convenient system for commuters as well as reducing congestion and carbon emissions.
"Feedback and ideas gathered at the workshops will be collated and considered as part of my response to the government’s draft Transport Master Plan," Mr Parker said.
