Hundreds attend public meeting on development in Rozelle

ABC reported that close to 500 people attended the public meeting at balmain town hall called by Leichhardt Council to discuss the development at the former Balmain Leagues Club site. Jamie Parker, Greens MP for Balmain addressed the crowd and highlighted the impact on the local retail stores and well as traffic and resident issues.

The meeting overwhelmingly resolved to support the return of the Tigers Leagues Club but not to support the current development proposal.
