Integrated Light Rail for Inner West Sydney

This week Jamie Parker MP gave notice of a motion in the NSW Parliament calling on the Government to extend light rail services in Sydney's Inner West to improve public transport options for thousands of residents who commute to the CBD and travel across the inner west.


Jamie will be campaigning for light rail services to be fully integrated into the public service network, including offering concession fares for students, pensioners and concession card holders. See a copy of the motion below.

Motion - Integration of Light Rail
I give notice that tomorrow I will move:
That this House:
(1) Notes that the extension of light rail will provide improved transport options for thousands of inner west residents
(2) Calls on the government to integrate the light rail into the public transport system
(3) Calls on the government to arrange for concession card holders to travel on the light rail at a concessional rate.
