Revitalise our arts community: Jamie Parker’s creative campaign

The Inner West is renowned for its vibrant arts community and Greens MP Jamie Parker is committed to making it even better.

Mr Parker hosted two local forums for artists, organisations and anyone who loves the arts.

“Our vibrant arts community is what makes our area so special,” Mr Parker said.

“I am committed to supporting local artists and organisations in order to enliven our creative community.

“The forums were designed to inform an integrated arts strategy which will support local artists and revitalise our creative community.

“I’ve been consulting with artists and organisations and a number of suggestions have been raised including the need for more affordable studios and venues for artists, support for artist-run initiatives and help with applications for grant funding.
