Here are the details:

TAFE has been the backbone of vocational education and training in NSW for more than a century and helped create a strong and prosperous NSW.

Since the Liberals gained power in NSW, the State Government has slashed funds to education and training by $1.7 billion, closed TAFE campuses and re-directed public funds into private vocational colleges, many with track records of rorting, poor teaching standards and low graduation rates.

The Greens want a well-funded, publicly-owned TAFE system that will provide opportunities and skills for Australians into the future.

Hope to see you there.

As a TAFE student for the past 2 years, I can personally say the TAFE system is in a downward spiral, and the many excellent TAFE teachers are wringing their hands in despair, & looking for a parachute. Student numbers have dropped due to enormous fee increases, and classes and courses are now in jeopardy due to low numbers. Shame on the Liberal government for systematically dismantling a once excellent and affordable teaching institution.
