Dear Premier,

The NSW government was presented with the Callan Park Master Plan over three years ago. It was developed by Leichhardt Council with the community, and was designed to protect, preserve and promote the historic Callan Park site.

I am calling on the government to implement the award winning Callan Park Master Plan which would see this wonderful parkland be preserved as a place for recreation, relaxation and mental health recovery. The lack of any decision by the government is very concerning for our community.

It is with only with a Trust within the properly funded Master Plan that the future of Callan park will be secure. I encourage you to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    This historic building and premises should be preserved for the people of NSW, not sold off to private developers.

    This is part of our local history. Can we not be sympathetic and forward thinking? Callan Park is the green lungs of the inner west, we need it to be valued and respected.

    i grew up in Rozelle. Callan Park is embedded in my history and I believe people with mental illness need to have a relaxing environment for respite when they need it. Callan Park can provide that and should not be sold off cheaply to private developers greedy for prime riverside land and profit.

    Like Centennial Park is the haven for the East .. Callan Park is the haven that the Inner West wants and needs! This beautiful park should never be redeveloped and should remain as an oasis for the people! SAVE CALLAN PARK!

    Callan Park is a " jewell " and hidden treasure to the city of Sydney and should be protected and all costs.

    Callum Park is an essential inner city green space with lots of historic building left to rot.

    How about allowing Artists to set up studios in these buildings?
