WHITE BAY CRUISE SHIP PUBLIC MEETING

WHITE BAY CRUISE SHIP PUBLIC MEETING

Lack of government action means that cruise ship companies are free to send their oldest, dirtiest ships to Sydney Harbour – ships that aren’t permitted to berth in much of North America and Europe.

While the local community has had a win with the introduction of regulations for the use of low sulphur fuel for cruise ships at berth, there is still so much more to do.

Join me on Saturday 13 October for a public meeting to discuss the government’s proposals for noise attenuation and a ‘3 strikes policy’ as well as our clean air campaign.
