Delivering results on public housing

Labor left a $300 million backlog in public housing maintenance. In response to Jamie’s work in highlighting this issue in the media, in Parliament and the community, we have seen gutters cleaned, bathrooms repaired and dangerous electrical issues fixed. Waiting times on the NSW Housing maintenance line have reportedly dropped and we are finally seeing the start of some positive results.

Jamie has been doorknocking public housing properties to survey tenants and better understand the most common issues.
