Allow dogs into pubs

I'm proposing an amendment to current laws to give the owners of pubs the right to decide whether dogs are allowed into their indoor areas.

Please sign our petition to ask the Premier of NSW to support my legislation allowing pub proprietors to decide if dogs are allowed into pubs.

Dear Premier,

Dog-friendly pubs are a key ingredient of the charm and unique atmosphere in many places in NSW.

The ability to bring a well behaved dog into their establishment is a key driver of custom for many pubs and hotels.

We believe that there’s a strong argument for changing these restrictive laws to allow pub proprietors to have the right to welcome dogs into their establishments, as they can in the UK and parts of Europe.

Please support the proposed changes to the Companion Animals Act to help pubs in NSW become more dog-friendly if they choose to do so.

Yours sincerely,
