Greens MP Jamie Parker joins thousands to oppose coal seam gas

Greens MP Jamie Parker joined thousands of people from across NSW to oppose coal seam gas mining.

"This week's 4000-strong rally of farmers and environmentalists demonstrates the diverse and widespread community opposition to coal and coal seam gas," Mr Parker said.

"I'm proud to join the NSW Farmers Association, the Country Women's Association and the Lock the Gate Alliance to voice our strong opposition to this damaging industry.

"A thank you to all of the people who traveled to make their voices heard on this critical issue. We Greens will continue to call for a full moratorium on coal seam gas exploration," Mr Parker said.
