Join our Campaign to bring back our local councils!
Dear NSW Parliament,
We call on every NSW MP to commit to legislation that allows residents to vote in a binding de-merger plebiscite in any council that has been forced to merge by the Baird Government.
If a majority of residents support their council standing alone, then the law must provide for a council to be reinstated and a de-merger to occur at the soon as possible.
We make this demand because we believe that the community -- residents and local businesses-- not Mike Baird, should decide the future of their local councils.

Am demanding that Mike Baird publically explain why citizens only see a plan AFTER each major construction (and destruction) decision is made.and contracts awarded to highly paid developers.
Why have the majority of government departments been decimated by staffing cuts?
Why have so many historic government buildings in Sydney and other areas in NSW been sold or leased at peppercorn rents
Who is advising Mike Baird?
Why are the majority of Mike Baird’s advisors, representatives/members/leaders of fundamentalist Christian churches who do not represent the views of the majority of those who live as owners or renters in the Inner West?
The adverse impact on so much of the Inner West’s citizens, their housing, roads, shops, parks, recreation and green areas in Glebe, Foest Lodge, Annandale, Haberfield, Dulwich Hill, Marrickville, Earlwood , Ultimo, Surry Hills, Redfern, Waterloo, Alexandria, Balmain and other inner city suburbs has to be urgently investigated, documented and publicly displayed by independent and qualified Town and City Planners .
Why has Mike Baird been given the power to destroy our neighbourhoods to a few developers who will all financially benefit from these outrageous, environmentally dangerous and ugly constructions which will and are already destroying the inner West
Where are Mike Baird’s Plans to develop the Glebe foreshore near the Fish Market? build Chimney Stacks in Jubilee Park? etc etc
