This week: church renovations, O Week, TAFE campaign, Glebe Ferry and flag raising

As usual Jamie's been out and about around the Balmain electorate, meeting wonderful and passionate local people working on a range of local issues.

O week at Sydney University

Jamie was fascinated to hear the perspectives of students starting their university courses at the Greens O week stall at the University of Sydney.

School support for Glebe Ferry

Jamie met with student leaders from Sydney Secondary College Blackwattle Campus to talk about the growing campaign for a ferry to Glebe. Fantastic students from a great school. What do you think of the idea of a Glebe Ferry? Take our poll to find out.

Hunter Baillie Memorial Presbyterian Church

Jamie joined Ms Susan Maddrell, elder and Chair of the Parish Committee of management, Rev Peter Dunstan, Minister, and Mrs Hilary Cairns, member, in celebrating 128 years of Hunter Baillie Memorial Presbyterian Church at Annandale. The church is now fundraising to preserving the beauty and structure of the building for future generations. If you'd like to get involved, you can find out more here.
