Support a strong ICAC

Thank you for your support of our petition to Premier Mike Baird and Labor leader Luke Foley, asking them to keep the ICAC as a strong and independent corruption fighting body.

The legislation was passed through the Upper House, and so the petition is now closed. However we will not stop working for clean politics and less corruption in New South Wales. If you'd like to be kept up to date with our corruption-fighting work, please sign up below for updates.

Many thanks,

Jamie Parker.

This is a backstab of the law by conducting a war of attrition on the enforcers. Whatever happened to the concept that Parliament was formed to enact laws for the benefit and protection of the constituency – you know, the people who hired them by popular vote and whose taxes pay their salaries? It seems that politicians have forgotten this, the most important facet of their function. These days, once elected, they ditch us ordinary folk and do what they’re told by the Big End of Town and their lobbyists, and brook no interference by people like ICAC who try to insert some fairness into the System. Liberali delenda sunt!

The corruption in both Labor and Liberal/ National coalition governments since 2010 have resulted in multiple resignations, sackings and criminal charges of members of parliament. This clearly shows there is a strong need for an independent corruption watch dog. No wonder constituents are punishing major parties at the polls.

ICAC is all we have in NSW that stands between us & a growing base corruption in both the Major Parties. I’m appalled!
