Save Wentworth Park

We need to tell the government that Wentworth Park should be kept as an open space for people, not built over for profit.

The government and their developers are eyeing Wentworth Park for redevelopment as part of the Bays Precinct.

Please sign the petition to ask Premier Berejiklian to keep Wentworth Park safe from developers:

Dear Premier,

I urge you to protect Wentworth Park from development by handing it back to the City of Sydney, and expand recreation and sporting facilities in the area, which is already one of the most densely populated in Australia.

    You need green space when overdevelopment happens, as is the case in Glebe. Without Wentworth Park there will be no green space for the local schools to use, apartment dwellers, people with pets. Local government has to listen to the public on this. Thank goodness we have Jamie Parker to protect this valuable piece of green space.

    we’losing too much green space in Sydney and particularly in high density areas. Too much emphasis on development and not on quality of life which used to be the attraction of life in Sydney

    Extend the park all the way to the waterfront once the cement business goes please..
