Save Wentworth Park

We need to tell the government that Wentworth Park should be kept as an open space for people, not built over for profit.

The government and their developers are eyeing Wentworth Park for redevelopment as part of the Bays Precinct.

Please sign the petition to ask Premier Berejiklian to keep Wentworth Park safe from developers:

Dear Premier,

I urge you to protect Wentworth Park from development by handing it back to the City of Sydney, and expand recreation and sporting facilities in the area, which is already one of the most densely populated in Australia.

Enough with development in this area! Bay Street has more development coming and so the green space is needed even more. Get rid of the greyhound track.

Open spaces must be retained and expanded with an expanding population. Don’t be short sighted!!!

There is precious little public amenity like open public spaces in Sydney. We do not want it to be wall to wall development. Particularly what is happening around the inner and inner west of Sydney.

We need to design our cities so that there is more public amenity and walkable. Designed for people and public transport and not private vehicles. Future development should be low impact sustainable urban community development

It’s such a lovely park. Please don’t take park space from such a densely populated area! We need it!

Non-trustworthy developers, and politicians in their pockets (they know who they are, ICAC will eat them) MUST get out of the (gene) pool. NOW!
