Auditor General confirms ICAC’s funding model threatens independence
The Auditor General’s Special Report into ‘The effectiveness of the financial arrangements and management practices in four integrity agencies’ released today, has confirmed that annual funding for NSW integrity agencies, including the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), is a threat to their independence.

12 storey towers approved for former Balmain leagues site
The application to build three 11 and 12 storey apartment towers on the former Balmain leagues club site has been approved by the Sydney Eastern Planning Panel.
Jamie Parker MP, Member for Balmain, appeared before the Panel to speak in opposition to these huge towers and advocate for a more appropriate development.

This record $10 million funding will be used to deliver the Landscape Structure Plan which aims to make Callan Park a more beautiful and useable space by restoring heritage buildings and landscapes.
