Cycling deaths

Despite chalking up wins with the ‘A Metre Matters’ law and the defeat of compulsory ID rules, cyclists face draconian fines and cycling deaths remain on the rise in NSW.

Stats released last month show that cyclist deaths have jumped from 25 – 45 in the past 12 months.

Last week in parliament I asked the Minister for Roads what the government is doing to protect cyclists.
