Ban gambling ads in NSW
Australians lose more money on gambling per capita than any country in the world.
Gambling ads fuel those losses by pushing people to spend more money, more often, and normalising gambling for our kids. Gambling money has become so prolific in professional sport you can’t watch a game and avoid it.
Some states, including South Australia, have banned gambling advertisements during live sports broadcasts to minimise the impact on young people. It’s time for NSW to do the same.
