Stop unfiltered stacks in Rozelle

The NSW Government is planning to build three exhaust stacks on the current Rozelle Goods Yards to funnel toxic car and truck exhaust from WestConnex and the Western Harbour Tunnel into our community.

It is world's best practice to install filtration systems in motorway exhaust stacks to remove carcinogenic pollutants contained in exhaust. But the NSW Government says that is too expensive for our community.

I believe the health of our community should come first which is why I’m calling on both the NSW Government and the NSW Labor Opposition to support the installation of filtration.

Dear Premier -

It is world's best practice to filter motorway exhaust stacks to remove toxic pollution and minimise impacts on our environment and public health.

I call on you to filter the smoke stack planned for Terry Street and the three stacks planned for the Rozelle Goods Yards. There is nothing more important than our community's health.
