Support a strong ICAC

Thank you for your support of our petition to Premier Mike Baird and Labor leader Luke Foley, asking them to keep the ICAC as a strong and independent corruption fighting body.

The legislation was passed through the Upper House, and so the petition is now closed. However we will not stop working for clean politics and less corruption in New South Wales. If you'd like to be kept up to date with our corruption-fighting work, please sign up below for updates.

Many thanks,

Jamie Parker.

Yet another attack on the functioning and credibility of our fragile ‘democratic’ system. Little wonder the electorate is disenchanted with and hold no trust in our big party politicians.

What kind of government wants to make it harder to examine corruption? Surely only a corrupt one

We need to strengthen ICAC, not hamper it.

With the rush to privatisation of public assets and services, much more attention needs to be given to keep the politicians, the public service and other appointees accountable. ICAC is there to reveal wrong-doing when conflicts of interest arise.

What has happened to the Labor Party? Honesty is not on their agenda, has not been for a long time, so sad they align themselves with the Liberal party, what hope has Australia got with these two parties.

I strongly support ICAC and urge you to support it in its original state and not impose more commissioners. It is a very valuable organization and should not have its powers diminished.

In whose interest would it be to dismantle ICAC … ?

How corrupt can politicians be that they want to get rid of ICAC. I want to make it stronger and have powers to put offenders behind bars. We are all sick and tired of the corruption and money that politicians and corporations get from sources that shouldn’t be alloed.
