Plans to allow 'free-range' eggs to be produced by hens living with two birds per square metre prove the need for a legislated definition, according to Greens MP Jamie Parker.

Community organisations in the Balmain electorate will receive close to $300,000 in funding after they were recommended by Greens MP Jamie Parker under the NSW government's Community Building Partnerships Program.

Greens uranium spokesperson Jamie Parker MP has condemned the NSW government for today overturning the 26 year moratorium on uranium exploration, saying the government has no mandate for uranium mining.
